A hilarious parody of point ‘n’ click adventures and video games in general, whose jokes are as inspired and imaginative as its puzzles.
This extraordinary game tests you to the limit – even as it insists that it absolutely does not exist.
There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension is full of hilarity, it’s an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. It may not re-invent the point-and-click wheel but any type of gamer can find fun inside this little indie-game package, and it comes highly recommended.

Critical Hit | Darryn Bonthuys | 8 / 10 | 05-17-2021 | So what is this interactive story that I’ve been throwing my thumbs at, attempting to guide its fate while being exposed to cracks in the wall that separates its reality from mine? Is it an absurdly smart commentary of video games, a bonkers adventure to watch unfold, a slice of creativity rarely seen in the industry? Is it an experience that has to be felt to be understood, thanks to its talkative AI and whimsical approach? Whatever it is, one thing is for certain: There is no game. | Read review |
Everyeye.it | Gabriele Carollo | 8.2 / 10 | 05-11-2021 | There is No Game: Wrong Dimension is a particular adventure, of those that so effectively break the fourth wall to compose a unique mood of its kind. If you loved The Stanley Parable, or if you’re looking for fiercely niche experiences, Draw Me’s work at Pixel is the one for you. | Read review |
Gameblog | Thomas Pillon | 8 / 10 | 04-23-2021 | There is No Game Wrong Dimension is a delightful and very funny point’n click, which offers various parodies of different genres, takes to a well played narrator, and very clever and meta puzzles. If you like to laugh, play this (non-) game. | Read review |
GameGrin | Jamie Davies | 8 / 10 | 10-04-2020 | An experience that pulls from gaming’s best (and worst) bits to create a wholly unforgettable few hours. There is No Game: Wrong Dimension, is not just a game: it’s something very different and a little bit special. | Read review |
Guardian | Simon Parkin | 5 / 5 stars | 09-05-2020 | This extraordinary game tests you to the limit – even as it insists that it absolutely does not exist | Read review |
Hey Poor Player | Daymon Trapold | 4.5 / 5 stars | 05-22-2021 | I really didn’t want this non-game to end, and I bet that you won’t either. Be sure to pick up There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension as soon as you can — I can’t promise you there will be a game, but I can promise you’ll absolutely enjoy the experience. | Read review |
Metro GameCentral | GameCentral | 9 / 10 | 04-21-2021 | A hilarious parody of point ‘n’ click adventures and video games in general, whose jokes are as inspired and imaginative as its puzzles. | Read review |

Nintendo Life | Oliver Reynolds | 9 / 10 | 04-26-2021 | When it comes down to it, There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension is a bit of a misnomer. There is certainly a game to be found here, and it’s a ruddy good one. If you’re not a fan of point-and-click style adventure games, then you may want to look elsewhere, but with an experience packed with ingenious puzzles and excellent self-aware jokes, this is one of the strongest examples of the genre in recent years. It’s right up there with the best; don’t miss out. | Read review |
NintendoWorldReport | Alex Orona | 9 / 10 | 04-23-2021 | Some tropes wear out their welcome eventually, but pushing past the annoyances yields a gaming triumph. It fits among other progressive games like the Stanley Parable or Thomas Was Alone but carves out its own unique space. There isn’t anything like There Is No Game. Well, there isn’t really a game at all, right?. | Read review |
Rapid Reviews UK | Squashpickle | 4 / 5 stars | 05-15-2021 | In this review, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the “out-of-the-box” (non) point and click puzzler from developer Draw Me A Pixel which was (not) announced and then (not) immediately released in the latest Nintendo Indie Showcase. Reviewing this experience almost seems redundant. After all, There Is No Game. | Read review |
Screen Rant | William Cennamo | 4 / 5 stars | 08-29-2020 | There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension is full of hilarity, it’s an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. It may not re-invent the point-and-click wheel but any type of gamer can find fun inside this little indie-game package, and it comes highly recommended. | Read review |
The Digital Fix | James Eckhoff | 10 / 10 | 08-11-2020 | A rich story, perfect graphical elements, and frustratingly challenging puzzles make There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension a thoroughly worthwhile game. | Read review |
Use a Potion | Unknown | 9 / 10 | 04-21-2021 | There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension is a wacky genre-bending experience that is clever, creative, and a whole lot of fun. The less you know before going in the better, but know this: you certainly won’t regret experiencing its unique and utterly endearing adventure. | Read review |
