Still, a bloody good game is a bloody good game. You’re in safe hands, wading through the dense forestry with Snake, and to many, the journey to a 1960s USSR setting will feel like coming home. Playing it once again highlights why Hideo Kojima was able to craft one of gaming’s true masterpieces and push the medium forward in so many ways. Rather than a full reimagining, Metal Gear Solid Delta is best described as a graphical overhaul of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 3D. That said, the game isn’t without flaws. Performance issues, unnecessary simplifications, and the lack of meaningful additions to justify the “remake” label hold it back from true greatness. Even so, Metal Gear Solid Delta remains a high-quality stealth-action title that I’d have no hesitation recommending.	Read review
